Tito's Moscow Mule Recipe for the weekend anyone?
With the weekend fast approaching, I thought I would share with you my new favorite drink. Tito's Moscow Mule.
It's refreshing and what is great is you can control how much vodka you put in them. Our friend works for Tito's, so of course we have become big fans of this brand. It's so exciting how much this company has taken off over the years. They are everywhere. Check them our wherever you can order a drink or buy liquor. Ask for Tito's please.
I started drinking Moscoe Mules after I ordered some mugs for Father's Day for Mark. We have become hooked ever since. I ordered mine from Amazon but I saw some at Target, where you can have your initials put on them. My friend Bonnie bought some really nice ones from Crate and Barrell. I don't think you can go wrong wherever you purchase them.
Where you can go wrong is if you don't buy the right vodka and the ginger beer. We did some experimenting with ginger beer. Not all ginger beers are the same in my opinion. We finally decided on Reed's ginger beer. The recipe or concotion as I like to call it is so easy. You literally do half and half or if you don't like that much vodka, measure accordingly.
Here is my concotion:
- Copper Mug, fresh from freezer
- 1/2 cup of ice
- 1 1/2 oz of Tito's Vodka
- 1/2 oz of freshly squeezed lime
- 3-4 oz of Reed's ginger beer or ginger ale
- Mint leaf for garnish and a lime wedge for garnish
